Learn About Our Programs
Resources
There are many organizations in the mountain community offering ways for seniors to socialize, exercise, get information about issues that are important to the older adult community. We know that older adults need help with minor in-home repairs, light housekeeping and light yard work. While we can't always offer this through our volunteer pool, we have resources that we can refer to. See Collaboration.

Social Connection
Social connections help seniors maintain their sense of belonging, which has positive impacts on health, wellness and quality of life. Seniors4Wellness offers Friday Café each month and holiday luncheons which provide entertainment and social connection. Additionally, we offer Game Day and Wellness Classes. See below for more information on those activities.

We work with a variety of different organizations in and around the Evergreen area such as Evergreen Newcomers & Neighbors, EPRD, Salvation Army, Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice, ECARES, Evergreen Rotary, Montessori School of Evergreen, etc. See the bottom of our Who We Are page for the organizations who are also providing senior services.
Collaboration
Volunteer
We are very proud of our large pool of volunteers who make our events possible. Our volunteers come from different organizations such as Christ the King Church, Knights of Columbus, Evergreen Rotary, Blue Spruce Kiwanis and more. Our volunteers have many different talents and they put those to use in helping with event planning, technology, financial planning, driving our minivan, and much more. If you are interested in being a volunteer, we would love to use your skills and talents for the betterment of seniors.

Transportation
Our volunteers are a helpful support when someone needs a ride. Our 2022 Chrysler minivan was funded through a grant from Colorado Gives Foundation. We are now giving non-emergency rides to seniors
to medical appointments, activities, grocery store, or to visit a friend. Knowing that there is transportation available promotes social connections and a sense of independence.

Game Day & Wellness
Classes
Seniors4Wellness promotes social connectivity through our monthly Game Day which is an opportunity for fun, socializing and learning new games. Our monthly Wellness Class promotes healthy living, not only for our physical bodies but also emotionally, mentally, etc. Some Wellness Classes we have had focused on nutrition, IT/Technology help, fire prevention, history and more.
